Labor and people’s organizations from more than 30 countries are invited for the 2nd International Meeting of the International Labour Network of Solidarity and Struggles that will happen on June, 8th and 9th, in Campinas (SP), Brazil. This call is made by organizations in the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia.
The meeting will take place after the 2nd National Congress of CSP-Conlutas, a Brazilian labor federation which is member of the International Labor Network and one of the organizers of this meeting.
The agenda will address the political assessment of the undertaken actions and campaigns; the consolidation of this network as a forum for international solidarity with struggles around the world; the development of militant, rank-and-file and internationalist labor organizations independent of employers and governments and in confrontation against capital.
The definition of the political profile of the Network and the structuring of the sectoral and inter-communal work of the organizations that make up this movement will be addressed as a priority, as well as the means to advance the construction of an effective network in Latin America, inspired by the experiences of European unions.
The meeting will be host by CSP-Conlutas together with the French labor federation Solidaires, the Spanish CGT and other organizations across the world.
